About
As a certified Titleist Performance Institute instructor, Chip takes a holistic approach to coaching. He works with players of all skill levels, ranging from professional to beginner, evaluating each player’s physical capabilities and biomechanics to develop a personalized improvement plan. Whether it’s full swing, short game, putting, mental strategy, or course management, his goal is to identify the key areas that will help lower scores and build confidence on the course.
Chip has had the privilege of learning from some of the brightest minds in golf, including swing coaches Pat Bigelow, Adam Kolloff, Sean McTernan, as well as the Helix Performance Institute. His expertise in putting has been shaped by specialists Bill Smittle and David Orr, who founded the Flatstick Academy, and has also been mentored by PGA Tour mental coach Dr. Greg Cartin.
Not only does Chip serve as the Lead Instructor at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club, but he is also the Head of Instruction for the Better Back Nine Foundation, where he travels the country offering premium golf instruction to SOF Veterans.
